South Korean stars Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum to film TV drama “Boyfriend”
Song, 37, is best known for the leading role in the hit 2016 series, ‘Descendants of the Sun’, while Park, 25, became a star in ‘Reply 1988’, and “Love in the Moonlight”
South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Park Bo-gum will co-star in the forthcoming television drama Boyfriend.
The company making the programme said on Monday that the series is in pre-production.
The first episode of Boyfriend is expected to air later this year.
Song, 37, will play the daughter of a politician and former daughter-in-law of a family running a large business conglomerate.
Park, 25, will appear as a man who enjoys the happiness of his everyday life.

Song, one of the leading hallyu, or “Korean wave” celebrities, starred in the hit drama Descendants of the Sun in 2016 alongside actor Song Joong-ki, who is now her husband.
